Corporate Wellbeing Workshops

Employers benefit when they help employees to prioritise mental wellness, thereby reducing the stigma of mental-health issues, addressing disparities in their incidence and treatment, and providing support through formal structures and programs. It has been shown many times that the return on investment more than makes up for the cost of the workshops.

As we move back to the workplace it is imperative that companies implement wellbeing strategies and ensure that staff take advantage of them.

On this note I have created a set of Wellbeing Workshops that work equally well in the private sector as in the public sector.

The ROSE Model - The ROSE Model looks in depth at our Reasons to exist (Meaning), our levels of Optimism, Our Self-identity and how Empowered we feel.  - Group coaching at its best -

This model, put together by Paula King, looks at 4 different elements of our lives and sets questions to reveal deeper truths about ourselves.

Being your authentic self can feel risky now in our screen-obsessed world. We are all just trying to fit in, be liked, and be accepted by other human beings. And as a result, the image we present (on our social media profiles and IRL) have become mere presentations of who we think we should be and not reflections of who we really are. So how do we take off the mask we've been wearing and start to live a life of authenticity?

Resilience & Empathy - Connecting with others through Listening and Storytelling (for teams and groups)

This is an wonderful workshop to see how personal stories and connections can help people build resilience in today’s harsh disconnected world.

Telling stories about our pain, problems, and hard-won perspective can be a cathartic release, a testament to overcoming adversity, and a gift to the listener, all at once.

One problem I see is that the world is moving at such a fast pace we don’t always take the time to really listen to people, we can feel unheard, unappreciated, misunderstood. We can lose that vital connection to others. Teams need to learn to trust each other, understand others stories and interpretation of things. We often assume too much.

The workshop normally runs between 90 minutes and 180 minutes (a morning or an afternoon) . It can also be run as a lunchtime session or as part of a series of workshops on a similar theme.

Finding your Superpowers - Working on your strengths and Values to increase your own sense of worth

We all have superpowers, we just don't always know it. There are things that we find so easy to do, things that come naturally to us (and we sometimes wonder why others struggle with those tasks).

How much more enjoyable would life be if you could let go of trying to improve your weaknesses and instead focus on developing your strengths?

And how would it feel if you could work out what your superpowers are and be able to use them in many different areas of your life?

This workshop will walk you through several techniques to discover and unravel these hidden superpowers

The workshop normally runs between 90 minutes and 180 minutes (a morning or an afternoon) . It can also be run as a lunchtime session or as part of a series of workshops on a similar theme.

The 5 C's - Bringing Control, Care, Continuity (Flow), Creativity & Self-Compassion into our lives

In this workshop we take a look at 5 different areas that can help feel more in control, more aware of the things we can do to look after ourselves and more self-compassion for what we may be struggling with.

This is a handy model to help you reflect on the things we can control, what we can influence and what we may need to let go of.

We take a look at some more ways to be more resilient, have some continuity - looking forward to what is to come back into our lives, bring some creativity into our lives and finally how to have compassion for ourselves and for others.

The workshop normally runs between 90 minutes and 180 minutes (a morning or an afternoon) . It can also be run as a lunchtime session or as part of a series of workshops on a similar theme.

People Pleasing - How to stop being a people-pleaser and learn to say No.

When you go through life as a pleaser, you aren’t living on your own terms. You think you’re being nice, agreeable, and drama-free, but keeping your true self beneath the surface doesn’t do anyone any favours. It just results in you being surrounded by rude, selfish, and unforgiving people who, instead of appreciating that you’ve put their needs first, treat you like a doormat. It can affect your work, your private life and can hold you back in many areas.

Some people use people-pleasing in the same way other people use drugs, alcohol, food, or shopping — as a way to avoid the discomfort of others’ disapproval.  But it can be worked on and people do change and become more assertive  just by starting to express their needs first.

The workshop normally runs between 90 minutes and 180 minutes (a morning or an afternoon) . It can also be run as a lunchtime session or as part of a series of workshops on a similar theme.

The above was a non-exhaustive list of some of the workshops I give. I also create bespoke workshops based on feedback from questionnaires on the specific needs of your workforce.
